The South Downs National Park has inspirational and varied landscapes, internationally important wildlife, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant market towns and villages.
As a volunteer you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our National park purposes:

Purpose 1: to conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the area.

Purpose 2: to promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the National Park by the public.

What are the benefits ?

Volunteering with us can have significant benefits for you, including connecting and socialising with others, learning new skills, or using existing skills to benefit others, gain valuable work experience, provide a sense of purpose, feel part of a team and improve physical and psychological wellbeing, and particularly within the South Downs National Park, a greater connection with nature.
